Dear Tom.

First of all: I wish you a very happy birthday! I hope you are celebrated with lots of chocolate cake and scotch single malt ;-) that’s how I would have celebrated anyways.

I don’t know anything about turning 40, so I’m not going to try and give you any advice on how to cope with that (except for the chocolate cake and scotch, which is the best way to handle any situation if you ask me).

Below is a picture of the gift I got for my own 20^th birthday. I still haven’t regretted it a day. And even though I got it for so many different reasons, I think that when I turn 40 it’s still going to remind me of you and all the events in my life that your music played the sound track to.
